Adin Hill wasn't at his best in the post-season, and after their loss to the Oilers, Bruce Cassidy has called out his level of play as they flamed out in five games.

The Vegas Golden Knights were expected to be a threat in the Stanley Cup Playoffs after winning the Pacific Division, but in five games of the second round, the team were dominated by the Edmonton Oilers, falling 4-1 in a very quick five game series.
There were many reasons for the team failing down the stretch, with the offense scoring just 10 goals in that time, but for some reason, many have blamed Adin Hill for his level of play in the series.
That includes Head Coach Bruce Cassidy, who commented on Hill's level of play in the post-season, and while he didn't lay all of the blame at his feet, he believes that Hill didn't play anywhere near the best of his ability.
In the final two games of the Oilers series, Hill had a save percentage over .900, but after allowing 12 goals in the first three games to put them in a 2-1 hole, it's true that he could have been much, much better against a very tough opponent.
At 29-years of age, Hill remains the future of the Golden Knights, and even with plenty of changes expected over the summer for a team that's disappointed two years in a row in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, it's likely that they will back him to be their No. 1 goaltender moving forward after he played a key role in their 2023 run to the Stanley Cup and inked a six-year deal earlier this year.
Ultimately, the Golden Knights just ran into a loaded Oilers team that was full of momentum after a round one series win, and while Hill struggled a little, he's still the best option for this team moving forward.
