The Vegas Golden Knights were on the wrong side of a bad call that cost them the game on Thursday, and now Lil Wayne has called the league out for it.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs have been full of questionable calls thus far, and on Thursday night, we saw yet another controversial decision from the officials late in overtime between the Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers.
After just serving a well deserve five minute major, the Golden Knights were looking to end things, until a blatant tripping call on Brayden McNabb that saw him go crashing into the boards was simply ignored by the officials.
Unsurprisingly, there are many furious people waking up on Friday after the Golden Knights went down 0-2, and while captain Mark Stone and Head Coach Bruce Cassidy both called out the league for the decision, so too did... famous rapper Lil Wayne?
Lil Wayne has famously been a huge supporter of the Golden Knights since their inception, and that frustration was clearly felt by the team as well, who quickly replied to the rapper on social media.
While it's certainly hard to say that the league was trying to make a decision to help the Oilers to victory, it's hard to justify the officials missing a clear call that saw a player go crashing into the boards, and with McNabb heading off the ice with an injury, it could be a double blow to the team.
Ultimately, this is a call the league can't take back, and with many others beyond the Golden Knights fans calling them out for it, there's no defending this, and the more poor decisions from the officials that are made throughout the playoffs, the more scrutiny that the league deservedly gets.
