PK Subban Blasts Connor Hellebuyck Ahead of Crucial Game 7 in Winnipeg

The Winnipeg Jets came into the Stanley Cup Playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, and although the St. Louis Blues aren't a bad team, this is a series that the Jets should have wrapped up.

The biggest thing holding this team back so far has been their goaltending, with Connor Hellebuyck pulled from not one, not two but three of their six games played already, with Jets fans on edge ahead of the winner-take-all Game 7.

Ahead of that game, former NHLer turned analyst PK Subban has called out the play of the veteran goaltender, and after another stellar regular season in 2024/25, he's simply not been good once again.

Over the past few days, Hellebuyck has been criticized by everyone from Blues fans to Jets fans to the media, and with a 4.42 GAA and an .815 save percentage, this has been another historic drop off in play from the player that should win the Vezina Trophy again this year.

Simply put, Subban isn't the only one piling the pressure on Hellebuyck, as his dreadful playoff performances over the past few years have done that enough on their own, but with so much to lose, this is perhaps the most important game of his entire hockey career.
