The Seattle Kraken versus Toronto Maple Leaf game got heated after a questionable hit by a Leafs defender.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are in Seattle to take on the Kraken tonight and it didn't take long for this game to have some teeth.
Early in the game, Leaf's defender Connor Timmins, who had just drawn back into the lineup, gives Brandon Tanev a dangerous shot in the lower back close to the boards sending him in gear first; take a look.

Brandon Tanev was NOT pleased with Conor Timmins shoving him down near the boards. 😳 Tanev gets up and immediately goes after Timmins to give him a piece of his mind and everybody on the ice jumps in.
When the dust settles, the Kraken go on the powerplay, Timmins get two minutes for cross checking, Simon Benoit and Tanev both get two minutes each for roughing.
This is hit that just can't happen, in fact it's one of the most dangerous hits you can deliver. Thankfully Tanev showed he was perfectly fine by his reaction after getting up.
