Corey Perry Gets the Worst of It During a Fight with Logan Stanley
A fight between Logan Stanley of the Winnipeg Jets and the Edmonton Oilers Corey Perry resulted in Perry getting the worst of it when all was said and done.
Not even halfway through the first period of the matchup between Edmonton and Winnipeg, and Perry and Stanley decided to drop the gloves and get into it near the Jets net. While Perry did his best to hold his own, Stanley's extra height, weight, and reach won out in the end.
"Corey Perry and Logan Stanley drop the gloves in a heated tilt."
At six-foot-three, and 206 lbs., it's not as though Corey Perry is a small guy. On the flip side, Logan Stanley's six-foot-seven frame, added to his 231 lbs., puts him among the biggest players in the NHL. Stanley had no problem getting the crowd pumped at the end of his fight.
"Logan Stanley is now beloved by all of Jets nation for taking on Corey Perry.
And he gives the crowd in Winnipeg a little pump up afterward."
