Kyle Clifford has carved a pro career out of being a dependable left winger who has been known more for sticking up for his teammates than putting the puck in the net. Unfortunately, due to nagging injuries age and numbers, the 33 year old has been forced to play in the minors for the last couple of seasons with the Toronto Marlies.
During the Marlies first round matchup with the Belleville Senators Clifford was up to his old antics when during the customary handshake line, he went after Senators tough guy Boko Imama. Have a look:
This is not Cliffords first time flying off the handle this season and in fact it may not have been the first time going after Imama this season but he broke the code by going after someone in the handshake line when you know better than to do anything after the final whistle. Although his tough as nails playing is appreciated by his teammates, his antics are becoming a little old, even for those that appreciate how a player like that plays.
