It wouldn't be an Edmonton Oilers playoff game if there wasn't massive fan fights that broke out afterwards, but as his tradition they happened after a huge game 6.
Yesterday the Edmonton Oilers forced the game seven beating the Florida Panthers by a score of 5-1 But it wasn't just the players on the ice fighting for their playoff lives. It's what happened after the game in the streets of Edmonton that really caught everybody's high.
According to X account YEG Wave At least three fan fights broke out after the Oilers won game 6 in Edmonton and boy were these fights ended quickly and decisively.
The ugly from last night 🥊#LetsGoOilers
The fact that this happens after every Edmonton Oilers playoff game, whether home or away, just doesn't make any sense. You think with your team a win away from the Stanley Cup then everybody would be happy and not always want to throw down but it seems that no matter what happens there's always fights in Edmonton, Alberta.
if this is any indication, we are in for a massive scene whether the Oilers win or they lose on Monday night. At least no one can say there's a dull moment in Edmonton after a high stakes hockey game
