The NHL may have to investigate the Maple Leafs after Reaves latest comments
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been accused of circumventing the Salary Cap before as have many teams, but now the National Hockey League may have to look into the Leafs after Ryan Reaves latest comments.
According to Russian Machine Never Breaks, Reaves has stated he's been healthy for a long time, despite still being on Injured Reserve, calling into question the Leafs ethics; Take a look. Ryan Reaves insists he has been healthy for weeks despite Maple Leafs keeping him on injured reserve
If this is true, the league should definitely be looking into this as it would be proof of cap circumvention, something that you seldom can show proof of.
On the other hand, even though Reaves says he's healthy, the fact that his knees are as unstable as they are have to be a major cause for concern.
