3 American teams emerge as favourites to land Bo Horvat
The Vancouver Canucks have made it known that they're sellers heading into the Holiday Break. Being a basement dwelling team in the western conference will do that to you. Captain Bo Horvat has made it clear he doesn't want to be a Canuck anymore, but since he's been on the trade block there hasn't really been any chatter.
According to Owen Krepps, beat reporter for the Vegas Golden Knights, these teams are in the mix for the the services of Horvat.
The teams in the mix for Horvat are the New York Islanders, Colorado Avalanche and the New York Ranger, but while the Vegas Golden Knights are on the outside looking in, they're also not put of the hunt as well.
Horvat, 27, has played 32 games for the Canucks this season collecting 31 points, including 22 goals and 9 assists. So while he wants out, he's showing the offensive catalyst he can be, especially if he was surrounded by the right talent
One thing is clear, whoever lands Horvat is getting a versatile player who can play in all situations, the question is, what will the going price for him be?
