American Hockey League game postponed after fan experiences medical emergency
In a situation sports fans are all too familiar with, there happened to be another medical emergency at a sporting event. This time it involved a fan at the Toronto Marlies game.
In the first intermission a fan had to be tended to by emergency medical team. Apparently this was a serious situation for this fan.
As a result of this sad situation, the game was postponed. Both teams were consulted and the American Hockey League was well aware of the situation before a final decision was made.
I sincerely hope that the fan in attendance will be OK. This seems to be happening too much lately.
