Angry player hits referee in the face with his stick after being ejected
Sometimes when the game is on the line players emotions get the better of them. That's exactly what happened to one player after he found himself being escorted from the ice. The incident happened during a game in Quebec.
As the player goes to leave the ice he slams his stick on the glass. Unfortunately during his back swing his stick comes up and clips the referee in the face. It's clear not much damage was done, but the official was clearly unhappy.
At least this video shows that emotion still exists at some level of hockey, despite people's attempt to remove it completely.
