Anna Kane claims Evander Kane has no intention of remaining in Edmonton
Evander Kane made the best out of his time as an Edmonton Oilers. Kane kept his head down, performed extremely well during the season and even better during the playoffs. That performance has led Kane to seeking a substantial payday on his next contract.
After having his contract terminated by the Sharks, Kane selected the Oilers as his next destination. Kane signed a 1-year $2,108,696 contract on January 27th. Kane went on to score 22 goals and 39 points in just 44 games with Edmonton.
Anna Kane shared the following image to her Instagram story yesterday.
Anna Kane followed her ex-husband to Edmonton to regain some form of custody of her daughter. In the photo Anna makes it clear her intention is to remain in Edmonton, even though she believes that's not her ex-husbands intentions.
Ken Holland shared the following information which may provide some form of credibility to Anna's claims.
"We are not close to a deal. I've spoke to his agent, Dan Milstein, the past few days, and we will continue to talk to see if there is a solution." Holland on Evander Kane. #Oilers
With Free Agency set to begin on July 13th, it will be interesting to see who has interest in the free agent.
