Game 3 looked like it was going to play out the same as Game 2 did as the Colorado Avalanche scored just minutes in. As the defenseman attempted to make a play along the blue line , it looked like he kept the puck barely onside before setting up the goal. But with nothing to lose, Jon Cooper and the Tamp Bay Lightning challenged the play.
During the replays shown during the broadcast, it still seemed pretty close with no real good angle of the play. After the review the goal was called back and it remained a 0-0 game. Apparently the main reason the goal was called back was from a camera angle we couldn't see.
If the National Hockey League wants to grow the game, they need to provide fans with an immersive experience. If the control room has a camera angle that was not shown during the broadcast, then whats the point of that camera? Let's hope next review we get to see all the angles.
