Toronto Maple Leafs fans are holding their breath tonight as one of their star forwards showed some discomfort after going into the boards awkwardly.
As Auston Matthews wad fighting for puck possession, he loses his footing going straight into the boards.
Clearly he's showing some discomfort holding his head down while fighting through the pain while heading back to the bench. Hopefully for Maple Leafs fans this is just a slight discomfort and he doesn't need to take time away from the game.
Auston Matthews is back for the second period, but he clearly seems to be favoring his left hip where he took most of the hit.
