If it weren't for bad luck Aaron Ekblad might not have any luck at all. After having his season cut short last season by a leg injury, it appears Ekblad may have suffered another significant injury after colliding with teammate Sasha Barkov.
The collision occured less than 2-minutes into game and Ekblad was visibly in distress as he attempted to get to the bench. Ekblad was unable to put any weight on his leg as he was assisted off the ice.
