Baseball players channel their inner hockey players, drop the gloves leading to wild TKO
Baseball is usually known as a calmer sport than hockey and by that I mean, very rarely do you see two baseball players square up and actually land punches. Don't get me wrong, baseball can be very intense, but you almost never see two baseball players drop the gloves.
However, during last night 6th inning of last nights Cleveland Guardians Vs Chicago White Sox game, José Ramírez absolutely dropped Tim Anderson with a right hook that caught Anderson right on the button; take a look. Jose Ramirez with a MEAN right hand right to Tim Anderson's jaw
It looks like this had been brewing for some time, but came to a boiling point when Ramírez slid into second and Anderson decided to stand over him before the two would eventually square up. Anderson would swing and miss wildly while Ramírez would connect with a punch that would send Anderson into space. So much so that Anderson would be stumbling around afterwards.
Tim Anderson was stumbling minutes after that punch 😬
This will likely result in a lengthy suspension for both players, but they both channeled their inner hockey players for the fight.
