The Blackhawks have been working the phones on a number of their players leading up to the Trade Deadline. Two names who might be heading out the door in the near future are Dominik Kubalik and Ryan Carpenter.

The 26 year old Czech Republic forward makes $3,700,000 against the cap and is a RFA in the summer with Arbitration Rights. He is having a down year this year with only 11 goals and 21 points in 61 games. He had 30 goals as a rookie two years ago followed up by 17 the last season. Teams around the league are always looking for proven goal scoring. The rumoured asking price starts with a second round pick.
Ryan Carpenter 31, a native of Florida has 3 goals and 11 points. A UFA in the summer making $1,000,000 this season. Currently lining up as Chicago's 3rd line Centre, who also kills penalties for them. A Late-round pick is the asking price.
Ben Pope of The Chicago Sun-Times was reporting Wednesday that the Blackhawks are making progress on a trade for Kubalik with the Anaheim Ducks as the front runners, while Ryan Carpenter could be heading to the Nashville Predators per the report.
