Brayden Point Dangles Through Seattle Defenders And Scores A Highlight Reel Goal
There were a lot of goals scored in the National Hockey League last night. Brayden Point's highlight reel goal from last night was one of the nicest goals scored last night. Nikita Kucherov's pass at center ice to Brayden Point was perfect. As Point gathered full speed in his own end, he accepted the pass, and he walked through three Seattle Kraken defenders and backhanded the puck by Phillip Grubauer nonchalantly. Watch the replay of the goal, it's well worth a look.
If you let elite players gain speed through the neutral zone with the puck, defending teams are going to be in trouble. That is what happened on Point's goal versus Seattle. The Kraken defenders Vince Dunn and Adam Larsson had little chance of stopping Point. Point's dangle on Larsson made him look silly. This goal pretty much put the game out of reach for the Kraken. It had to be deflating to give up such a highlight reel goal as well. Seattle, who has played well this year, lost the game 6-2.
Brayden Point continues to have a good season with Tampa. He now has fifteen goals and fifteen assists in twenty-eight games played this year. You can see how dangerous of a team Tampa is when Point is healthy and in the lineup.
