Breaking News - Bo Horvat traded in blockbuster trade to the Eastern Conference
It became clear that Bo Horvat wasn't going to sign a new contract with the Vancouver Canucks. It quickly became clear that Vancouver management was going to move the center, rather than losing him for nothing. That deal has now come together as Horvat has officially been traded to the New York Islanders in a blockbuster trade.
Monster trade: Bo Horvat dealt to the #isles for Anthony Beauvilier, Aatu Raty and a 2023 first-round pick. This trade sends Horvat to the Islander in exchange for 3 of the Islanders most valuable trade pieces. This shows a sign of desperation for Lou Lamoriello, who is clearly trying to get the Islanders back into the playoffs. But this move is Lou spending big to try and save his season.
