Breaking News - Evander Kane doesn't travel with Oilers to Calgary
Last week Evander Kane announced that he and his girlfriend were expecting the birth of their first child together. Today Kane is celebrating that birth. As the Oilers make the trip to Calgary for Game 5, Kane remains with his girlfriend and newborn.
Kane not travelling with team, he and his girlfriend welcomed little Iverson Frank Kane into the world. Congrats to both of them!
Kane has had an absolutely unbelievable playoffs. He's scored 12 goals in 11 games his playoffs, while also notching 3 assists.
The expectation is that Kane will make the trip tomorrow to join his teammates as the Oilers look to advance to the Conference Finals for the first time since 2006.
