When free agency began John Klingberg was in search of a massive long-term payday. But after hit agent failed to find him a deal, he fired him and moved to Newport Sports. It didn't take the folks at Newport long to find Klingberg a deal to his liking.
According to Kevin Weekes, Klingberg is nearing a deal that will pay him $7,000,000 for next season.
Last season while with the Dallas Stars, Klingberg requested a trade after turning down a 8 year deal worth over $45,000,000. Now Klingberg looks to use this show me deal to get himself a big payday re-entering free agency next year.
