Breaking News - Los Angeles Kings sign defender to multi-year contract
The Los Angeles Kings were one of the final teams remaining with a restricted free agent on their roster. After getting Mikey Anderson signed to a contract last week, only Sean Durzi remained. After an extended negotiations though it appears the Kings finally have that deal done.
Today the Kings announced that they'd come to terms with Durzi on a 2-year deal. Frank Seravelli of TDF shared the following:
Hearing Sean Durzi's new deal with #LAKings is 2 years x $1.7 million.
This deal ensures that Durzi, who the Kings acquired in the Jake Muzzin trade, will report to training camp next week. Last season in 64 games Durzi added 3 goals and 24 assists for 27 points. The right handed defenseman is expected to take on a larger role with the Kings as early as next season.
