Breaking News - Nazem Kadri reportedly signing for more money than reported
The Nazem Kadri appears to be coming to an end today. Multiple reports have surfaced that the deal between Kadri and the Islanders will be completed today. It appears the previously reported 7 year deal with a reported cap hit of $7,000,000 was incorrect.
According to Scott Foley, a former NHL scout the final deal will come in $4,500,000 higher in total salary.
Hearing from multiple sources that Kadri is headed to the Islanders on a 7-year deal. Cap hit is $7.5M.

The Islanders are expected to also announce the Noah Dobson and Alex Romanov extensions as well. The Islanders will also likely make multiple trades to clear the cap space for this move.
