Bruins pay an absolute premium for Hampus Lindholm, working to extend him
Silly season is in full swing and that's become even clearer as the Boston Bruins have swung an absolute premium for Hampus Lindholm. The Bruins have been in the market for a left handed defended for weeks now and after failing to acquire Ben Chiarot the Bruins turned to the Ducks for help.
The Bruins officially acquired Lindholm and in exchange the Ducks receive a King's Ransom.
According to Pierre LeBrun the return is:
1st-Rd pick this year, 2nd RD pick in 23, 2nd RD pick in 24 plus young roster player

This is a massive haul for a rental player, but it sounds like the Bruins have reached out the Lindholm's camp to work out a possible extension.
Elliotte Friedman confirmed:
Full: Lindholm to BOS for 2022 1st, 2023 2nd, 2024 2nd, Urho Vaakanainen and John Moore. Ducks keep 50 per cent It does appear though the Bruins will be getting a deal done to extend Lindholm as they're in contact with Lindholm's agent Claude Lemieux.
