Just days after signing a key member of their core to a long term extension, the Buffalo Sabres aren't done just yet.
The Buffalo Sabres have announced they have signed former 1st overall pick Owen Power to an 8-year contract extension; take a look.
OP'S IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL‼️
We have signed defenseman Owen Power to a seven-year contract with an AAV of $8.35 million.
Power, 20 is coming off his entry level deal, the long term contract carries an AAV of 8.35 million dollars a year.
In 87 career NHL games power has scored 6 goals and added 32 assists for a total of 38 points.
We've seen an influx of long-term, high value contracts for players that have played less than 100 NHL games as teams look to lock up their future earlier in their careers.
