Calgary Flames make huge roster move leaving many expecting trade
The season hasn't started out how the Calgary Flames imagined. After Brad Treliving opted to not sign a new contract, the team eventually fired head coach Darryl Sutter. This was supposed to mark a fresh start for the franchise.
Unfortunately this season has been anything but a fresh start. The Flames currently sit with a 4-7-1 record, a far cry from where the team wants to be. This season has also seen multiple star players being benched for long stretches of time. Whatever could go wrong has gone wrong.
In search of a spark today the team turned to third string goalie and top prospect. Dustin Wolf. The Flames made the announcement that Wolf has been called up. With trade rumors, swirling this sent fans into a frenzy.

Last season Wolf led the AHL in wins, shutouts, GAA, and SV%. He was named the AHL's Goaltender of the Year in both of his professional seasons and last year was named MVP.
With both Dan Vladar and Jacob Markstrom struggling this is a real opportunity for the top prospect and has fans ready to see some change to the roster.
