Chicago Blackhawks prospect injured badly after awkward collison
Hockey is a fast paced game and sometimes even the most harmless collisions can lead to significant injuries. That's exactly what happens during today's game between the Minnesota Wild and Chicago Blackhawks rookies.
Today injury occured approximately 4 minutes into the period as the Blackhawks carried the puck out of their own zone. As Blackhawks prospect Paul Ludwinski tries to exit the zone he collides with a Mikey Milne of the Wild. After the collision he falls the ice and remains down for sometime.
The Wild were very upset as the Blackhawks carried the puck down the ice and scored their 2nd goal of the game on the play. The Wild argued that the play should have been blown dead due to the injury.
Blackhawks prospect Paul Ludwinski to the dressing room after taking part in a nasty collision.
After Ludwinski was tended to he was forced out of the game due to injury and didn't return.
