The Carolina Hurricanes ended Game 7 on a bad note, not only losing the game but a rookie and a core player. Seth Jarvis was one of them, however, a play that happened earlier in the game, caused Chris Kreider to check in on the goalie.

Raanta dealt with a 2-on1 with 4:23 in the second period, as Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad made a play, where he stopped Kreider(after Kreider had shoved him) at the crease. Afterward, Zibanejad had the puck, which caused Raanta to extend his leg in a split and fell face-first onto the ice.

Raanta had to be helped off the ice with assistance from teammates Vinnie Troecheck and Nino Niederreiter, Raanta would be taken out of the game with a lower-body injury.

That didn't stop Kreider from checking in on fellow veteran Antti Raanta:

Raanta says Kreider came up to him after the game and said "don't tell me I hurt you...(feeling bad)" Raanta says it wasn't his fault just how the play went

This is particularly painful as both Carolina Hurricane goalies are injured right now.
