Today, the Columbus Blue Jackets announced that the 3rd overall pick this year, Adam Fantilli, has been ruled out for eight weeks to a left calf laceration due to a skate cut to the left leg.
Fantilli, 19, was cut by a skate two days ago in a game against the Seattle Kraken. He was then seen limping off the ice, leaving fan's questioning if he was okay.
Adam is adjusting to the NHL really well, being selected only this year. Fantilli has 12 goals and 15 assists, tallying up to 27 points in 49 games. This is yet another blow to a disastrous week for Columbus. Hopefully, he gets better soon.
