Connor Clifton busts Peyton Krebs wide open after a big check on Taylor Hall
When Jim Montgomery took over the Boston Bruins, one thing he demanded from his team, was that they'd always stand up for each other. So when Peyton Krebs delivered a big hit to Taylor Hall, he likely knew a response was coming.
Connor Clifton immediately dropped the gloves in defense of his teammate. Krebs was a willing opponent, but easily out matched. Clifton handled Krebs and left the young forward leaking.
Even after losing the fight Krebs was still interested in pumping up the crowd. It's great to see the growth of the Sabres as their young core has taken a huge step forward.
