Derek Forbort absolutely levels Joe Veleno with a huge hit (Video)
The Boston Bruins are currently the best team in the Atlantic Division. With many people predicting the Bruins to regress the team has done the exact opposite. Off to a 7-1-0 start the Bruins suddenly look like the Big Bad Bruins if old.
Last night the return of Brad Marchand marked a key point for that team, who weren't expected to weather the storm of injuries. Now it appears that the Bruins could be the favourites in the Atlantic. With Marchand's return came a 5-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings.
During the game Derek Forbort delivered one of the biggest hits so far this season, when he absolutely caught Veleno in the trolley tracks.
Veleno was shaken up by the hit, but did remain in the game. With Jim Montgomery behind the bench it appears the Bruins have a new found spark and physicality they were sorely lacking.
