Evander Kane crops teammate out of multiple photos, fans think it means something
The Edmonton Oilers spent yesterday in British Columbia on a team building experience. The group decided they'd go fishing ahead of the 2022/23 season. From the photos it appears the team had a great time and ultimately landed themselves a beautiful fish.
After the day ended Evander Kane shared photos to his social media account sharing some of the amazing details. That's when a Twitter user noticed that Kane had cropped someone out of some of the photos he'd posted.
NHL_Bouchard noted that in this photo Kane elected to not include Jake Virtanen. Fans in the comments immediately went one of three directions:
1) Kane isn't a fan of Virtanen
2) Virtanen isn't a member of the Oilers yet
3) Virtanen is going to be released from his professional tryout
The Oilers also posted the same cropped photo creating that much more buzz.
The Oilers should provide some clarity on Virtanen's situation in the coming days, but until then the speculation will run wild.
