Evander Kane taunts the Chicago crowd after scoring a goal only to find out it doesn't count (Video)
The Edmonton Oilers squeaked out a 6-5 win against the Chicago Blackhawks last night in Chicago. With the game tied at 3, Evander Kane thought he'd given his team the lead. As Kane battles in front of the goal with Seth Jones, he falls on Hawk's goalie Alex Stalock.
Kane doesn't make much of an effort to avoid Stalock. But as Kane rises to his feet a shot comes from the point that he picks up and buries behind Stalock. The referee on the ice initially signals goal, even though Stalock had been unable to retrieve his stick.
Eventually after a review the officials decided this was in fact goalie interference and waived off the goal. That poses the question should this goal have counted?
