In the results 98.3% of Flyers fans have no hope or faith in the team. With the comments made this week by John Tortorella it's easy to see why this could south quickly. Tortorella already claimed this week that his players have the "attention span of an amoeba" and need to be "spoon fed" information.
The General Manager has not fared much better, as Chuck Fletcher has been making all the wrong kinds of moves in Philadelphia. The Flyers appear to be a team without direction, with the signing of Tony DeAngelo the intention appears to be compete now, but the other pieces aren't in place for that.
The Flyers have been in a bad spot even before Alain Vigneault was fired and Mike Yeo unsuccessfully held the interim spot. Vigneault's final record with the Flyers was above .500, with a 75-54-19 record.
In the midst of all the bad new the fanbase has been receiving, with Ellis possibly retiring with an inoperable injury, they are the most hopeless fanbase in the NHL currently.
On the other end of the spectrum are the Carolina Hurricanes who have 98.53% optimism in their team.
