Jaromir Jagr is a living legend, still playing hockey at the professional level at 51 years old after a long and successful National Hockey League career. However during his last stint in the NHL with the Calgary Flames, things didn't exactly go according to plan.
Former teammate and long time Calgary Flames player Matt Stajan had little to say about playing with Jagr other than it was cool to say he played with him, while shutting down any other questions about Jagr on the Flames Nation Barn Burner podcast; take a look.
The way Stajan quickly shut down the question about Jagr does suggest that there was some friction in the locker room, to what degree is unclear, but this is nonetheless surprising.
For the way Jagr is looked at as a legend of the game, the revelation that he might not have been a good teammate, but also a locker room cancer is certainly something to take note of.
