Full list of waivers for October 21st - 300 game NHL veteran placed on waivers
Yesterday the Seattle Kraken placed defenseman Michal Kempny on unconditional waivers. The Kraken and Kempny had agreed upon the termination of his NHL deal. Kempny had previously cleared waivers and had been assigned to the American Hockey League.
At 2 pm today it was announced that Kempny had cleared waivers and would have his deal terminated. It is expected that Kempny will return home to Europe to continue his hockey career.
On waivers today the Minnesota Wild placed veteran defender Andrej Sustr. Sustr signed with the Wild this summer on a one-year deal. Sustr has played 361 career games between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Anaheim Ducks. It is expected that Sustr will be sent to the AHL if he clears waivers.
