A high school hockey player is working his way back from injury after taking a huge hit in a recent game. As the player came towards the net with the puck, he turns his body to shoot. As he's looking to fire the puck a defender crosses the ice and delivers a huge hit.
The hit leaves the player on the ice in a significant amount of pain and the referee can be seen immediately raising his arm to call a penalty. The players head appears to bang off the ice after the blow. It was reported the player suffered a concussion on the hit.
The hit doesn't appear to target the head, but could be a blindside hit? Do you think this hit is clean or dirty?
