Insider claims Radko Gudas could be moved to an Atlantic Division rival
The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to add to their blueline if having it decimated by injuries. Even though Kyle Dubas just added Connor Timmins, one insider claims he's already looking for more help.
According to Hockey 24/7 the next step is to add some grit they've been missing. Especially after sending both Wayne Simmonds and Kyle Cliffords to the AHL on waivers recently.
It looks like Dubas is in talks with the Florida Panthers to bring Radko Gudas into the Maple Leaf's organization.
Gudas is known for his ability to finish checks and brawl more than anything, as seen above. The Leafs made similar moves in 2020, adding Zach Bogosian to the blue line.
The next question would be, what is Kyle Dubas going to give up for another character guy like Nick Foligno?
