Jaroslav Halak loses his temper after an overtime loss
The New York Rangers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead against the Detroit Red Wings yesterday. Unfortunately for the Rangers they were unable to hold onto that lead and they ultimately fell 3-2 in overtime to the Wings.
Despite making 33 saves, Jaroslav Halak came out of the contest as the losing goaltender. After getting beat by an overtime shot by Dominik Kubalik, Halak was upset. Halak immediately turned and smashed his stick on the goalpost before leaving the ice.
To begin this season Halak has gone 0-3-1 for the Rangers with a save percentage of .882 and 3.49 goals against average. With Igor Shesterkin also regressing for last year's numbers it's clear the Rangers need to find a solution.
