There's speculation that the Philadelphia Flyers and John Tortorella could come to terms on a deal bringing Torts to the City of Brotherly Love. According to Hockey Insider, Andy Strickland the Flyers and Tortorella could be nearing a multi-year deal that would bring Torts to Philly.
The Flyers had one of their worst season's in franchise history with a 25-46-11 record finishing dead last in the Metropolitan Division and 29th overall. This finish has left fans demanding changes.
Tortorella has coached previously for the Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks and Columbus Blue Jackets. Many players have shared that they hated playing for including many stars like Patrik Laine, Josh Anderson, Pierre Luc-Dubois and Max Domi.
Tortorella is a hard noise old school coach that definitely isn't always politically correct.
