The debate about what the most exciting occurrence in hockey has happened for decades. Some will suggest a game seven, Stanley Cup winning goal; others, a line brawl and then there is the group of oddities that feel the most exciting event in hockey is the goalie goal.

Late in the third period with the Colts leading 3-1 the Bulldogs pulled their goalie for an extra attacker. As the puck was dumped by the Bulldogs deep into the Colts zone, Colts goaltender Anson Thornton collected the puck and rifled it the length of the ice hitting the opponent's goal square.
