Kirby Dach overwhelms Andrew Copp with massive right hands
Kirby Dach isn't known for his ability to throw punches. The big bodied center has made a career because of his skill, but that doesn't mean he isn't willing or able to drop the gloves. Off the opening faceoff of the second period, Kirby Dach and Andrew Copp began to immediately exchange pleasantries before the puck was even dropped.
As soon as the puck is dropped Copp falls to the ice and Dach gives him a bit of a cross check to the back. That's all either player needed to kick things off. Both players dropped their gloves and immediately began to exchange.
It was clear Copp was caught off guard by the strength of Dach. Copp quickly found himself off balance and then on the ground. After dropping Copp, Dach skated away victorious pumping up the home crowd. Both players received 5 minute major penalties for fighting on the play.
