Less than 24-hours after elimination the Oilers are looking to trade a defenseman
The Edmonton Oilers haven't even been eliminated for 24-hours and it seems like they're already trying to reconfigure their defense. After Evan Bouchard's emergence it appears that Tyson Barrie has been made expendable.
According to Jason Gregor the Oilers have already begun shopping Tyson Barrie and his $4,500,000 cap hit.
Barrie just completed his 2nd year in Edmonton where he put up 7 goals and 34 assists in 73 games. Barrie's contract has 2 more seasons on his current deal. If the Oilers were able to move Barrie, it would mark his 4th team in a 5 year span.
