The Toronto Maple Leafs ended their season in predictable but disappointing fashion. Since the season ended the Maple Leafs have made multiple front office changes, but it sounds like the Leafs are planning to make significant on ice changes as well.
According to The Athletic the Maple Leafs have made it clear to teams that their list of untouchable players only includes 3 players.
Notable omissions from this list include William Nylander, Jake Muzzin and John Tavares. The Maple Leafs disrupted their entire salary cap situation by signing Tavares and could now be potentially looking at options with his contract.
The Maple Leafs and Kyle Dubas are looking at a way to finally break their 1st round curse and hopefully before Auston Matthews becomes an unrestricted free agent in two-years.
