Matt Barzal Punishment Revealed
The rivalry between the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Islanders continued last night when New York Islanders' forward Mathew Barzal tugged on Toronto Maple Leafs' forward Mitch Marner's jersey while Barzal was sitting on the bench.
A move Mitch Marner didn't appreciate and after the game would tell the media,
I hope he's fined or suspended.
Well the NHL agreed with Marner and fined, Barzal $2,500 for unsportsmanlike conduct.
I think it was just a little bit of gamesmanship from Barzal but it would of been more interesting if he tugged on former New York Islanders' captain who left the Islanders after 9 seasons to sign as a free agent with his childhood team.
