The Philadelphia Flyers training camp roster is beginning to round into form as they make some last minute moves to fill holes where needed. A key theme this off-season for the Flyers has been grit and it looks like with their latest training camp add, they're sticking to it.
According to Puck Empire, the Flyers have signed forward Antione Roussel to a Professional Tryout.
Roussel, 32, skated in 53 games for the Arizona coyotes last season, registering 8 points, (4 goals and 4 assists)
Is it just me or does Philadelphia always try and live up to the BroadStreet Bullies of old? This is not how you win games in 2022, I know Roussel is on a PTO, but this way of thinking is why they haven't been good for some time. At 32 years old, Roussel is past his prime and can provide limited offence. This doesn't make sense.
