NHL Insider makes some scary comments about the upcoming Trade Deadline

Since the trade between the Montreal Canadiens and the Calgary Flames that sent Tyler Toffoli to Calgary in exchange for Tyler Pitlick, Emil Heineman, conditional round 1 pick in the 2022 draft and round 5 pick in the 2023 draft, we've only seen one other trade that held any significance in the NHL which was the Toronto Maple Leafs trading Nick Ritchie and 2nd round pick to the Arizona Coyotes for Ryan Dzingel & Ilya Lyubushkin.

NHL Insider Chris Johnston reported that things are ''very quiet,'' which is not good news for us fans.

Fans were excited for this deadline because some very big names are rumoured to be available: Fleury, Giroux, Chychrun, Kessel, Chiarot, Manson, Rakell, Giordano, DeBrusk, Hertl, Hagel, Domi, Boeser, Lindholm, Miller and many more, this was shaking up to be one of the most exciting Trade Deadlines we've had in a long time.

Let's hope GM's get talking soon, we want to see some trades!
