While fans have called for something new and interesting the league has instead settled on board advertisements and jersey ads instead.
Today the league finally took a step in the right direction. The league officially announced a new partnership with ESPN to truly help grow the game. The league will officially follow in the footsteps of the NFL and their "Red Zone" product, creating an NHL alternative known as "Frozen Frenzy".
The NHL will have their own version of the «NFL Redzone» 👁️
It'll be called «Frozen Frenzy» and it will be on ESPN, beginning on October 24th when all 32 teams play. Hosted by John Buccigross, the studio will be bouncing around every games.
