The Nashville Predators have acquired defenseman Jeremy Lauzon from the Seattle Kraken. Lauzon was drafted by the Bruins in the 2nd round of the 2015 draft playing parts of 3 seasons in Boston before moving on to Seattle.
This season Lauzon has 67 PIMs and 176 hits in 53 games. He plays a physical style that fits well with the team in Nashville, who like to throw the body. He is 24-year-old and is an RFA at the end of the season.
Lauzon certainly helps Nashville's depth on the backend. This is the type of depth D many playoff teams target as there is usually an emphasis on the physical part of the game.
