Patrick Kane has already turned down a trade to one Eastern Conference team
Patrick Kane's name has been at the forefront of the NHL rumor mill. With multiple teams showing interest in Kane's services, teams have reached out to the Blackhawks to see if that interest is mutual. Rumors have Kane only interested in joining the New York Rangers or Toronto Maple Leafs.
One of the teams interested in acquiring Kane was Lou Lamoriello and the New York Islanders. But according to Stefan Rosner, Kane has already made it clear that he has zero intention of approving a trade to the Islanders.
One thing is for sure, if Kane does have his sights set on joining a team like the Maple Leafs, then he needs to make it clear that's where he wants to go. If not then Kane could end up on the outside looking in once again.
